Google is always improving it’s already stellar products. We here at Sheetgo are of course huge fans of Google Sheets, and we are always recommending our favorite Sheets add-ons. Most of the add-ons in the add-ons store are created by 3rd party developers, but there are a few that are made by Google to connect your Sheets with other Google apps and services. I always get super excited when Google launches a new add-on—you know that it is going be intuitive to use, well-designed, and the kind of solution that easily integrates with and improves your workflow.

Google has just launched its Beta version of the new add-on for Google Ads, formerly known as Google Adwords. There are already many free and paid Sheets add-ons and templates you can use to coordinate your Ads efforts, so I was excited to see what Google has created for us Ads and Sheets devotees!

What Can We Expect In The Future?

This add-on was just released this summer so we can expect a lot of improvements. One aspect that some users have complained about is the lack of an option for automatic updates. For now, users need to manually refresh and sync data to their spreadsheets. Many add-ons, including Sheetgodo offer this feature so it would make sense for Google to add this in an update in the near future. But until then, manual refreshes are not a huge hassle!

There do seem to be a few bugs as well. Some users have reported issues with the add-on running very slow, and others have mentioned issues with different currencies. Google is very responsive to the bugs and is listening to users. So be sure to report anything that seems off to the Google community—this will help Google to improve it faster!
